Mallorca Balloons offers the excursion from 1^st of March to 31^st of October. Balloon rides in the winter months have to be booked in advance. Depending on the booking flights have a duration of 30 or 60 minutes, all the excursion lasts 4 to 5 hours.The passengers are picked up very early in the morning and brought to Manacor. From the begining the guests may help and learn. Our English speaking pilots will give an introduction and a security-briefing before take off. The balloon fly with the same direction and velocity as the wind and in heights about 1000-1500 feet. Contacting Palma-Airport-Tower we are usually allowed to climb till 2000 feet. From this bird’s-eye view we are able to see all the island and maybe the neighbouring islands Cabrera and Menorca. After this romantic trip we land somewhere on Majorca where the chase vehicles will pick us up again. Balloon baptism and Flight Certificates are the traditional end of the excursion.

Ballooning depends strongly on the weather conditions. Due to this fact the booking has to be confirmed on the evening before between 5:00 and 7:00 pm with a telephone call in our office. The weather confirmation is necessary, without calling us your place may decay or be given to other passengers. Mallorca Balloons decides on which days the conditions are good for flying.
